Cinammon Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream

Hola readers! Another baking post :D Made this delicious apple crumble together with my sister... We were both on holiday and wanted to try a new dessert recipe, God knows how we adore desserts! We picked apple crumble because it was easy with little risk of failure, not so expensive on ingredients, and most importantly, super duper delicioso! so here is the recipe :) *thanks to my aunt who suggested making our own apple crumble*

Apple filling:

1 kg of apples (4-5 large apples), peeled and sliced thinly and evenly
2 tablespoons of brown sugar (if you can't find brown sugar, you can mix white sugar and palm sugar with the same ratio)
1/4 cup butter
Put the mixture into a large saucepan and simmer on low-med heat for 5-10 mins, with lid covered, until apple is tender, but not too soft

Apple crumble:
-100 g whole meal flour
-100 g plain flour
-100 g brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
-1/2 cup butter
Put all the mixture together and make crumble with your hand (my fave part!! :D)

Put the apple filling into an oven proof casserole dish/pyrex and spread the crumble evenly on top, don't press the crumble too much or it will harden too much. Put in a preheated oven (about 180 celcius) for about 30 minutes, just until the crumble is slightly browned, and tarraaa... your homemade cinnamon apple crumble! Serve with vanilla ice cream :)

Happy trying!
